How the Mission Tracker works
The Mission Tracker is a checklist stored locally in your browser using your device's own storage. Tick a box and it stays ticked when you come back, on this device. There is no sign-up and nothing leaves your machine. Before launch, the tracker holds your readiness list: read the confirmed story setup, study the regions, sort your platform, make a pre-order decision, and bookmark this checklist. After release, the same tool flips into your live completion log, every story mission, collectible and gold medal you can tick off as you finish it.
Provisional completion framework
Leak / unverified Rockstar has not published a 100% completion list for GTA 6. Until it does, the framework below is built from how completion worked in GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, and it is clearly provisional. Use it to understand the categories you will likely need to clear, not as a confirmed requirement list.
- Story missions: complete every main story mission across both protagonists.
- Side missions and strangers: finish the optional missions tied to secondary characters.
- Collectibles: track down the map's hidden items, a Rockstar staple in every recent game.
- Gold medals: replay missions to hit the optional objectives for a gold rating, if VI uses that system.
- Hobbies and pastimes: try the sports, mini-games and activities that count toward completion.
- World activities: clear any region-based or dynamic-event milestones.
Leak / unverified Specific numbers, "around 80 achievements," exact collectible counts, a "50 to 120 hours to 100%" estimate, are leaks and projections. They are not confirmed, and we keep them out of the confirmed column.
Why a provisional checklist is still useful
A good completion run is a plan, not a scramble. Knowing the categories ahead of time lets you plan routes, decide which protagonist clears which content, and avoid backtracking.
